There is always a lot going on in the Hibiscus Coast Catholic Community. We have activities for all ages, all interests and all seasons.
Home Groups
The parish has a number of small groups, which meet informally on a regular basis, approximately once every 4-6 weeks. The aim of the groups are to foster friendships and a spirit of caring and sharing among parishioners; to provide a support structure in times of need; to encourage socialising and fun activities; to strengthen and unite the church community through prayer and growth. At present there are five groups running successfully with their own individual choice of activities. Contact: Mabs MacDonald 428 0228.
Aerobic Exercise Group
Meet every Thursday afternoon at 3.15pm in the parish hall for a low-impact aerobic workout. Contact: Theresa Fouche – 426 5599
Indoor Bowling Club
Meet every Wednesday in the parish hall at 1.00pm for a friendly game of bowls. No previous experience required, beginners always welcome. Contact Gerry White - 426 3322.
Parish Ladies' Coffee Group
Meet in the St John's parish hall on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 10.00am for coffee, friendship, bingo, trading table or whatever entertainment is planned for the day. Contact: Christina Mannes (09) 421 0553
