The Catholic faith is grounded in the teachings of the Bible and the works of saints and teachers that are beyond number. As catechists we have the duty to present Jesus' teachings and to help make the Christian community come alive so that it will be able to give witness that is truly Christian.
Here in the Hibiscus Coast Catholic Community we offer a variety of opportunities for adults and children to broaden their knowledge and understanding of what it is to be a Catholic at the start of a new millennium.

Adult Education
In association with the various Diocesan Education Offices, the parish runs a variety of religious education courses throughout the year. Alpha
Alpha explores the questions of life. It is a ten-week course, meeting once a week, which teaches the basics of Christianity. It is a challenging programme for Catholics, lapsed Catholics, Christians of any denomination, or non-believers. The course is revitalising and refreshing. It is widely used throughout the world. Catholic Enquiry Centre
The aims of this evangelical centre is to promote a Christian perspective to the wider media and to act as an initial point of contact for people wishing to find out about the Catholic faith, or for Catholics who wish to return home. Little Rock Scripture Studies
Little Rock is a scripture study group utilising adult learning methods. The groups meet weekly for discussion and video lectures with a requirement for individual study during the week. Courses generally last between six and ten weeks. Contact Bernard Reinen - 424 7245.
